Voice Therapy

While I'm sure that many of us will use this for fun, to experiment, or as a prank (which is completely fine as long as we keep it respectful - it doesn't do to shame people for having a particularly feminine or masculine voice), this may also come in handy for voice therapy.

Voice therapy (or voice training) refers to non-surgical techniques that aim to modify our voices. If we're aiming to raise a low voice to a higher-pitched voice (in other words, change a male sounding, deep voice to a female sounding voice), that's called voice feminisation, which is what this voice filter can help you practice. Here's a visual to help you see how the different vocal ranges between male voices and female voices compare and line up - generally, women will be able to reach the soprano, alto, and contralto registers, while men will fall within the tenor to bass ranges.

Description

This is a recreation of a Mellotron/Novatron owned through the 80's, the voices were recorded on a Studer A80, the tape was lost then found in 2004 and work commenced cleaning up the recordings, correcting pitch errors etc. recreating the Mellotron/Novatron in this VSTi plugin.

There are three voice tracks and they are Male/Female Choir, String Section and Flute.
