Electric underfloor heating In basic terms, a wet underfloor heating system features pipes, filled by warm water and powered by a boiler or heat pump, concealed within the floor, and typically embedded within a screed. This is the best type of underfloor heating where you are building from scratch and/or planning a whole-house system. Ambiente stainless steel manifolds are designed for use with hydronic underfloor heating systems. They can either be used in conjunction with a pump/blender unit or coupled directly to the centrally. The Emmeti FMU3 underfloor heating manifold is an all in one solution built with the installer in mind. The stainless steel manifold and integrated pump and mixing valve are built to the highest standards.

The use of any underfloor heating system requires a change in thinking about how the system operates as they tend to have longer heating up and cooling down periods. This necessitates patience and understanding of how the system best works. At Emmeti we offer a wide range of zone controls in order to build a comfortable indoor environment including thermostats, time switches, wiring centres and electrothermic heads. These controls enable full electrical control of the heating system when used with our Type 2 or Type 3 manifolds.

Programmable room thermostats are great for single zone operation or individual room control. Whilst control is maximised and completely flexible, certain homeowners may find multiple programmable room thermostats a challenge. Modern homes with home based workers, stay at home parents or intermittent use may get the most from this type of thermostats.

Offices, shops or leisure facilities are also particularly suited to this level of control. Working hours, part weekends and occasional evenings can be programmed in to suit.

The Emmeti CS11/7 thermostat comes complete with a remote sensor for floor temperature control or remote room temperature control.

Different Modes:

1. Mode A – Air only with built in sensor
2. Mode AF – Air and floor, with built in and remote sensor (ideal for bedrooms with en-suite)
3. Mode F – Floor only, with remote sensor (Ideal for bathrooms and wet rooms)
